Are your sardine cans BPA-free?
Yes. All Skin & Bone tins are completely BPA-free and safe for storage.
Are your sardines fried, smoked, or steamed?
We steam our sardines gently in a pressure cooker under 200°F. Never fried. Never smoked. Just clean, tender flavor.
Where are your sardines sourced and packed?
Our sardines are wild-caught in the North Atlantic and hand-packed in Costal Portugal
What makes your sardines different from others?
We only use the highest grade Atlantic pilchards, packed fresh in premium extra virgin olive oil—not refined oils. They’re steamed to preserve nutrients, and hand-packed for artisan quality.
Are the bones edible?
Absolutely. The bones are soft, nutrient-rich, and a great natural source of calcium.
Do you remove the heads and tails?
Yes. Every tin contains perfectly trimmed fillets—no heads, no tails.
